ABOUT ME

Hi everyone!
I'm Dea,
about me: I'm a student at Malmo University in Sweden, Peace and Conflict Studies - think peace journalism, civil wars and definitions of peace rather than hippie-camp :) I'm living in Copenhagen.

At the moment I'm preparing myself to go to Seoul for exchange studies this August - very excited about that!

I love to hang out with friends, and meet new interesting people. My heart is open and I enjoy to discover all the different perspectives people have on life.

When I get settled in Copenhagen I will love to host again. From this August I will be in Seoul and very interested in hanging out.

Interests

I have recently found out how awesome scuba diving is! And got my advanced open water license in Egypt in March. I absolutely LOVE the feeling you get when you are 30 meters under the surface and look into the big blue below you. Unfortunately it's an expensive experience. Can't wait for the next time.

In Copenhagen my life is all about studying and hanging out with friends. And I enjoy it fully :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In between high school and university I spend 1 year as a volunteer for a Danish youth based ngo. We did fundrasing campaigns to support educational projects in developing countries.
I've been to Zimbabwe and Burma to meet the young people who are participating in the projects. In Burma I met 19 year olds who peacefully fought for democracy and activists who video recorded the uprisings in 2007.
They are the most coolest people I've ever met!
