关于我

On June 25.2018 at roughly 1700, I will have left my home in North Orange County, California by train to a destination on the East coast of the U.S. Traveling sight unseen, not knowing exactly where I was going to land, I chose Boston, MA as the starting point of my travel westward by bicycle back to California. I am taking a slower pace in efforts to reach the people at ground level and reach out my own hand to assist those I come across on my journey whom are lesser fortunate than I. I will locate one individual, hopefully daily, to give a step up, a guiding path, some forward progress to those who are receptive and would like to see a light at the end of the tunnel.

Many roads I have travelled in my lifetime and much knowledge I have gained from those roads. I have an enormous amount of experience in the time I have existed since birth several decades ago. From trials to judgment to jails, institutions and… not yet. From love to hate, marriage to widower by suicide, prosperous to homeless, the blessing of health to three broken vertebrae in late 2014 and open-heart surgery late 2016. Although many setbacks have occurred in my lifetime, I am still standing, breathing and living. I am capable to give back to others that we come across in our busy day to day lives. Those individuals that don’t have the faith in life that others may have, the ones that fall hopeless and discontent with the heavy burdens that life has to offer. I have set out to take the time out, to be led by God to those that will benefit from my interaction. I am or will be carrying only necessities as I travel through the states of America. Simplicities, i.e. small tent, sleeping bag, small amount of clothing, food rations, limited water weight, my bike, a handful of tools and of course shoes. I am going to be doing my best to avoid hotels, hostels, diners, etc. (but will happen here and there). I will basically be in survival mode the entire 3600-mile journey.

In preparation for this task I have been driven only by instinct and the desire to help those out of the dark places that I have managed to crawl my way out of. Coming from where I have, life is simple and wonderful at times, but not for all of us. This is where I will be giving my effort to fill small gaps that keep so many personalities down. In my state of California, I have built a quickly growing street -level community outreach, C.i. Organization (CiOrganization.org) assisting those under resourced individuals in the same ways mentioned above. We can assist one individual per day with ease and pride. Sometimes on the smallest of scales, other times larger when in our capacity. One success a day is all we ask. No matter how large or small, one successful task on any level.

I am not sure how much longer in my life I will be able to do these such actions but I’m doing it now. While reading this expression of myself in my own words, think about how much the one, or more than one, important persons in your life means to you and how much worth you are or could be to someone else.

Carry on my friend, I’ll be rollin’,
