ABOUT ME

I was born in Thessaloniki and it's the city I call "home". I have not travelled abroad that much, so I am more than eager to get out of my country's borders and have a taste of other cultures(and their cuisine too), meet fresh and interesting people and learn of different habbits and customs.
I consider myself a kind and totally honest person. I may not be that much of an outgoing person but still meeting new people is an activity I enjoy much. My friends say that I have an uncommon sense of humor mixed with sarcasm and witticism. Also, I'm privileged with a wild and vivid imagination, so don't be surprised if I describe you something in the most hilarious and unfathomable way! Still the easiest way to know me better is conversation!

PHILOSOPHY

I like to think that there is still some good in the genes of human kind and not all hope is lost. Likewise, I believe there are friendly and sincere people out there "waiting" for me to meet them. I am still too young to accept the thought of living a life when the analogy of happiness - misery tends to favor the second. So, in short, all I want is not to waste my youth and regret about it later.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch(can be used as a bed as well) is available almost all year long and showing the well-known greek hospitality is always a pleasure.
I've only surfed 6 times so far. And now I regret for not trying it earlier!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience as a host in October 2012. Since then I had more than a few opportunities to host fellow csurfers. I can confidently say that is an experience worth living and I enjoy it much. I can't wait to host more interesting people and attempt more surfs!

兴趣

Literature, long talks about both serious and trivial matters, watching movies (classics, indie, not-so-mainstream and from all over the world), exploring new tastes (especially cheese, chocolate, cookies, wine and beer), history. Also, I love learning and I hate studying, watching plays, working out, playing videogames occasionally. Not long ago, I've become a vegetarian and I like to stick to a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Moreover, I believe in the creed of "people are the greatest fun ". So, I enjoy being around people:
-with unusual and improbable laughter
-who make fun of themselves
-comfortable with their body and its pros and cons
-who go against the flow and the mainstream trends
-with tattoos that are unique and/or have a special meaning
-who are passionate amateur artists (no matter the art)
-social drinkers
-great story tellers
-who don't match a specific type of person or any type at all!

Most genres of rock and metal. I'm also into blues, jazz, funk, soul, reggae, trip-hop, chillout music, electro pop and progressive sounds too. However, I am always open to expand my musical horizons to other music genres too.
In short, I love music and I don't really care about the genre. Labels are not meant for music, only for food packages.

Define "amazing"....
But no, nothing quite amazing that would appeal the masses. My "amazing" moments are like small drops of happiness sprinkled on the ice cream called "my life". ;-)

教，学，和分享

I can teach you a game. I write in a piece of paper how to swear really nasty in Greek. Then you say it and (my friends and) I burst into laughs(because of the way you said it and what it means). Then it's your turn to write something nasty in your language and I(or we)will try to say it out loud. Now it's your turn to laugh! It sounds silly but believe me you can laugh to tears!
