I retired from work at the end of Nov 2019, and am now aiming to travel more and experience more, both at home in the UK and elsewhere. To this end we have recently acquired a small campervan 🙂

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from places far and wide that I may not otherwise encounter, and to hear stories from their home countries/towns and travels. So far I have:

- Hosted people from UK and Japan (via Finland)

- Surfed in the UK. I had 2 surfing sessions booked in for The Netherlands in April 2020 but alas Covid intervened

- Attended socials in Sheffield (UK), Gainsborough (UK), Lincoln (UK), London (UK), and Sydney (Australia).

- Hung out in Nottingham (UK)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked the Camino Ingles in Spain, ran a marathon in Germany. Visited Macchu Picchu in Peru and Uluru in Australia.
