I'm a PhD student in Toronto, Canada, working on a degree in philosophy. I also fulfill my stereotype by making espresso at a local cafe. My wife, Emily, is a nanny here in Toronto, and we have two super cool cats!

I did some couchsurfing in my teens and loved it. I'm from a really small town, so it was a wonderful way to expand my horizons! Now that I'm a graduate student, presenting papers and research around the globe, I figured it would be a great way to see the sights and meet some really great folks in the cities where my research takes me.
