About Me

Hello, I'm new to couch surfing, but I'm looking forward to meeting new people. Well it's taken me a long time to do this, but my dream is coming true, selling what I don't need and I'm going to travel the good old USofA. I've traveled a fair amount and loved it. From Hawaii, to New York, to many cites in between. I live in this cool little city called Appleton, WI (Think Green Bay Packers North and EAA Show South of Appleton), but I've always known that I wanted to travel the entire 50 states, so that's my goal and meet cool people along the way. I'll be doing a documentary on my travels to learn from others, share my experiences, and show the world that we are all connected.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's one of the best ways to meet people and get to know them. I'd like to meet as many people along my journey as possible. We are all connected.

Interests

  • music festivals
  • movies
  • live music
  • adventure travel
  • live concerts

Music, Movies, and Books

Rush is my favorite band, but I'm open to most music. I listen to music most of the day when I'm home, if I'm not, writing, watching movies. love documentaries and the Matrix. I'm not a huge reader, but do enjoy it at times.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did stand up comedy for about 3 years and went on the road with a fellow comic some years back. We met some very cool people, from Idaho, Montana, to Kanas City and few other gigs in between. Nothing is better than making people laugh and enjoy themselves.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more about cultures in the USofA. I always wanted to learn the drums (Thanks Neil Peart from Rush). I enjoy sharing my experiences with people and learning about other peoples lives.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have no problem helping with cleaning or maybe you need a task done... I've been an electrician, furniture mover, server, bartender, just to name a few. Whenever someone moves, I usually get called and enjoy helping them out. Stacking the furniture is like playing Tetris. Oh...I'm a pretty darn good conversationalist as well. Love philosophy and I'm a free thinker.

Countries I’ve Visited

Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico
