Born and bred in Sydney, Australia. At the end of 2018 I quit my job and originally planned on 6 months in South America. 3.5 years later I’m still bouncing around the world challenging myself and sharing some amazing experiences with a tonne of people. I’m yet to take part in Couchsurfing but I have been doing Workaway/volunteering gigs consistently since then. I am an electrician by trade and qualified TEFL teacher but to be honest I've been fortunate enough to get my hands and mind involved in way more rewarding adventures. Always up for a chat and a laugh!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I spent most of my first 6 months on the road in hostels, while it was an amazing time I found when I was lucky enough to be invited into peoples home it brought a whole other element to backpacking. I felt I was more connected to not only the local knowledge of this new location but to the warmth and engaging nature of these strangers in the world. There truly are some special human beings out there and this platform really allows you to pursue that next encounter and adventure.
