I am German-born and Chinese-bred. Currently studying and working as a Cinematographer in China. I speak German, English, and Chinese and I can understand the a bit of French. I am a huge analog photography nut and love to take pictures of people and the environment. Which is one of the reasons I want to venture out and see the world. To meet new people, to see new places, not only through my eyes, but through the beauty of how celluloid nitrate renders photons into colours and grain structures.

I love love love Bob Dylan, cuz he’s so nasal. Other than that I love music that involves the guitar :Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix. I like interesting vocal chords: Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, and really adore poetry in song.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent my time on a mountain in Yunnan China at the border to Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos. It was a very poverty stricken area but I got to experience the really local lifestyle.
