Resumen
Sobre mí
My friends would most likely tell you that I am smart, funny and kind-hearted. I can be a bit loud in groups (they always say that my laugh stands out) but I also like to spend a lot of time to quietly with myself. I can easily make new friends and I often do things just for the challenge.
I consider myself a good mixture of creative and disciplined. Originally growing up with a strong rational-scientific background, I became a software developer to better understand the technology I use on a daily basis and that's currently how I earn my daily bread. After moving to Berlin, I steadily broke free of some of my rational and disciplined thinking and developed a much more creative and intuitive side to myself.
I tend to define myself by the things I've learnt. My focus for the last few years has been on languages, specifically German, Italian and Russian, as well as plenty of physical movement with bouldering, yoga, gymnastics and now a bit of dance (if you know who Ido Portal is, you get the idea of where I’m going).
When I travel, I feel much more comfortable if I can speak some of the language of the country I'm in, and I much prefer to sink into the culture and daily life of one or two interesting places than to see lots of sights at once.
Finally, I consider myself a minimalist at heart - owning as little as possible, traveling as light as possible and preferring to rely on my core self to get through any situation. I would however, like to be more nomadic than I currently am and want to get out more into the world in 2020.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
During the end of 2012 I couch-surfed for 6 weeks throughout Germany and Austria. I met dozens of amazing people and learnt so much from each of them.
I learnt just how free I really am in this world, and that anything can be done when one puts their mind to the task. I felt humbled many times when trying to learn German, and now realise how much effort it takes to learn a language.
Right now I have the freedom of working from wherever I like, so I'm looking to travel more in the German-speaking realm and take my German up to the next level. I want to meet people from different cities, make new connections, help out with their projects and have new experiences. I'm also on workaway if you need some serious help and would like me to stay for longer!
Intereses
I enjoy learning new skills and go through a lot of phases. Currently, I'm focusing on reaching a native level of German, learning how to dance and improving my creative movement skills, and working at my skills as a software developer. I'm also really getting into the Berlin techno and underground scene!
I'm trying to eat more vegan meals these days (I try to eat meat only twice a week nowadays) and I love to cook new things with people.
I watch a lot of videos and read articles about science, politics and economics and consider myself pretty up-to-date with most things happening in the world. I’m pretty excited about developments in anti-aging and other cool ideas like brain-computer interfaces. They’re gonna really change the world, in my opinion.
I’m also (very carefully) exploring the world of psychedelic substances and have a few interesting stories to tell about that.
Some of the other weird things I took an interest In the last 5-10 years:
* Playing the guitar (once performed in front of 40 people) and the drums
* Russian and Italian (enough to have a few basic conversations) a tiny bit of Norwegian, Spanish and French (but not enough to remember any of it!)
* Boxing, yoga, gymnastics, bouldering and weight training. Used to swim a lot at one point too
* I once owned a motorbike (a Triumph Bonneville 950cc)
* Holding my breath for 3:30 minutes
* A few small coin and pen tricks (I’m not very good though!)
* Writing with my non-dominant hand
* I used to draw castles and medieval towns. Haven’t done that in a while though!

Books:
* The Count of Monte Cristo
* The Great Gatsby
* The Children of Hurin.
Films:
* Inglourious Basterds
* Once Upon a Time in Hollywoord

* The Matrix
* The Edge of Tomorrow

Big Batman and Spiderman fan too (although I get pretty sick of the superhero movies of the last decade)
Algo increíble que he hecho
A friend of mine asked me to take part in her small project: "Technorobic". Long story short: me and her were performing aerobics to techno music until 5 am in Suicide Circus (a club in Berlin) in front of a hundred people, wearing clothes chosen out by an eccentric sports-fashion designer.

Enseña, aprende, comparte
I'm interested in learning just about anything, and by now I like to think I have a lot to share too.
