About Me

As a person, you'll discover that I'm a tidy, respectful, and highly personable individual. I consider myself extroverted, embracing an open-minded and honest approach to life. I'm genuinely thrilled to immerse myself in Kiwi culture and lifestyle. In addition to maintaining an active lifestyle through exercise and personal health I enjoy socialising, beers with friends and exploring new horizons.

I believe I have a fantastic sense of humor, but I suppose that's open for interpretation. You know you're a comedy genius when your jokes are like abstract art - some people get them, some people pretend to get them, and some people just stare blankly!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m a 35-year-old professional who has recently arrived in Auckland from the UK on a 3-year working Holiday visa. I'm immediately seeking somewhere to crash a day or two while I transition into more permanent accommodation in Auckland.

My intention is to remain in Auckland for the entire duration of my 3-year visa, with the hope of eventually gaining permanent residency. Ideally, I'm looking to meet and form long-lasting friendships as i slowly integrate into New Zealand's beautiful culture and country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2013, I spontaneously decided to purchase a motorcycle in Vietnam and rode it from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City on an 1,800km journey that spanned a month. At the outset of my adventure, I persuaded four other strangers to join me, resulting in an incredibly exhilarating trip. We engaged in lively parties with Vietnamese forest rangers deep within the rainforest, navigated mountain roads without any illumination in the midst of torrential rain during late-night rides, and celebrated our journey with singing, laughter, and dancing at numerous destinations. These experiences led to the formation of friendships that have since blossomed into lifelong, close relationships.
