I'm a long time Washingtonian. With that, comes both good and bad stuff.

The good is that I'm educated and knowledgeable and appreciative of diverse cultures. The bad: I'm a workaholic and have been consumed with work over the years. LOL

But as I've gotten older, I've yearned for the time to travel more and grow beyond my own comfort zone. I love communities like Couchsurfing and AirBnB which really makes the world so much smaller.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a cost effective and humble way of meeting people from all walks of life. I'll freely admit I prefer the comforts of a Holiday Inn. But the Holiday Inn doesn't offer great stories and friendship from strangers.
