Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
At present, I am actively learning Spanish and Japanese. I travel to/from Mexico a couple of times per year. I am also actively volunteering, and therefore in and out of the city periodically.
When I host, I prefer non-smokers and a minimum two-night stay. Nowadays I am much more selective about whom I host. My experience as a host has to be enriching for me, especially after hosting hundreds of CSers, travellers and musicians from around the globe.
ABOUT ME
I enjoy anything to do with nature, experiencing magic and beauty in simple things, and living in the moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sharing a kind of "trust" that is rare today.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted hundreds of couchsurfers and touring musicians, many of whom the surfing experience remains lasting. I have also been a couchsurfer. I have hosted far more people than the number of references.
Interests
I truly enjoy the outdoors and being in nature. I enjoy paddle-boarding, kayaking, reading, camping, hiking, snow shoeing, cycling and road trips.
Indoors, I enjoy listening to music, reading, meditation, Netflix, cooking, learning languages, and chilling in the hammock.
Year around, I am active volunteering - promoting the arts, responding to emergencies with the Red Cross, and helping people through life transitions, among other fun stuff. Lately I have been back and forth to Mexico to learn Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts
To better your chances of me hosting you, make sure you have a complete and detailed profile and sending me a personalized message.
I can offer you a very clean and furnished private guest room with fresh linen and towels. Also, you will have access to laundry, kitchen, WiFi, hot tub in the cold weather, bicycles, snowshoes, kayaks, and other leisure stuff.
Whenever possible, I enjoy preparing and sharing meals.
I absolutely love exposing travellers to urban and underground arts, music and cultural scene and even going on excursions to places outside the city i.e. Gatineau Park.
Note: All I ask is that you are respectful of my home. My home is not a hotel or an AirBB nor a hostel. Please help me keep my home clean and tidy.
