ABOUT ME

I grew up in regional New South Wales before moving to Sydney to study at Macquarie University. There I studied Republican Roman history and Software Technology, all the while working as a researcher, tutor, and residential advisor. After saving (barely) enough money, I took off overseas for the first time, travelling through 7 countries in as many weeks - Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, Czech Rep., Hungary, and Romania.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had joined couch surfing to meet like-minded people at times when I was most unsure or alone when travelling solo. I first participated with the Couch Surfing community at the 2014 New Years party in Istanbul. I then couch surfed in Athens .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flying in a hot-air balloon over Cappadocia in central Turkey was incredible, so too were the monasteries and houses carved directly into the strange rock formations. Hiking through the countryside of the Czech Republic and Romania are also highlights.
