ABOUT ME

I write comedy and I'm an aspiring TV presenter. I run a restaurant in London called Smokehouse. I consider myself to be a affable, confident and social guy who enjoys making people laugh and entertaining. I'm polite, respectful and have been brought up properly by loving parents. I have a geeky politics side and enjoy an intellectual discussion with like minded people. I am a awesome cook and have a real fondness for great wine and great food. I make an amazing cup of tea and the best bacon sandwiches in the world. I'm a tidy and clean person. Not sure what else to say except I'd obviously really appreciate you accommodating and English chap on your sofa for a night or two.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing in London for the past 2 months to save up the money for this trip. I have met a load of people, not least my friends housemates, who have been so welcoming. I have learnt so much about Vodka especially my friends Polish housemates. I also know that Iove my brother dearly as he has taken the biggest brunt of my couchsurfing ride.

Interests

I like tennis, walking, bike rides, reading, comedy. I'm not a sporty person however. I love eating in nice restaurants and drinking good wine and beer. I love socializing and meeting new people.

Music: I love David Bowie, Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Annie Lennox, Phil Collins, Joy division, Human league, Kate Bush. I love glam rock, rockabilly, indie rock and electric.
Writers: Irvine Welsh, Philip Pullman, Douglas Adams. Currently reading Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer
Movies: I love James Bond, Bourne Identity and action along those lines. Into sci-fi Star wars, marvel and DC movies. I love dark comedies especially British dark stuff like Nighty Night, Human Remains, the office, pulling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just got back from Burning Man and I honestly felt I lived a day in the life of myself. I remember looking up to a purple sky, cycling back across the dessert, surrounded by stars and saying to myself "i Literally did everything that stimulates and interests me in some form or another in 24hours". It was one of the best days of my entire life.
