I am a certified ESL (EFL) teacher who is passionate about travel and about Medieval History.

I spent the first 3 months of 2015 in Italy and Switzerland tutoring English. Ever since I returned to Canada, I've been working hard, saving up money just so I can return to Europe for a longer period of time. Now, I am here in Germany, travelling and reaching out to form new friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most kinds of music. Any book that grabs my attention from start to finish is a favorite book of mine. Though, I am especially impartial to works of historical fiction set in the Middle Ages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done was on January 28th, 2015 when I stepped out of my comfort zone, left my family and friends behind -- the world I knew best -- to go abroad.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, since teaching English is my desired career, I'd be more than happy to help with conversational English. I'd also be more than happy to share my knowledge and passion for history. In return, I want to improve my German speaking skills.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Deanna for the last five years, both as a friend and as a colleague at Driftwood Players Story Theatre, a community theatre troupe on the Sunshine Coast.

Deanna and I both joined the troupe in 2010, as new actors. I've since come to know Deanna as an intelligent, creative, kind, and reliable person. She quickly expanded her input within the group, becoming one of our troupe writers. She gets along well with others, and is very reliable in her commitments. She is a motivated individual, I've admired how she pursues her dreams head-on.
