I, Deanna Rose , am a graduate of Warren Wilson College, where I earned a BA in Gender and Women’s Studies and minor in Anthropology. I work as afterschool teacher with children, singer, community organizer and holistic herbalist, certified by the Blue Ridge School of Herbal Medicine. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, where she took singing lessons on world-renowned Music Row. I love singing folk, gospel, blues, and more! I now live in the mountains of North Carolina, where my ancestors worked as songwriters, poets, and teachers in the early 1900s. Through song, nature and ceremony, I aim to bring community together.
I enjoy performing sound therapy, leading song circles, and fostering connection. I love to laugh and play games.

I am great at cleaning up after myself and being respectful. I enjoy meeting new people and going to see music and dancing. My favorite thing to do is to be in nature and explore. Also when I am in a new place I love going to the farmer's markets. I tend to go to bed before midnight and enjoy relaxing atmospheres.

I am sensitive to strong smells like perfumes and chemical cleaners and prefer not to stay in places with strong scents because they give me a headache.

I have couch surfed in Quebec City, Saint Andre, Spain, Morocco, and Florida. I have had some very magical experiences couch surfing and I look forward to experiencing more.
