Overview
About Me
Hey folks, I am a pretty decent guy, just living life to its fullest I guess. I am one of the ones that will say "Traveling changed my life" because it is so true. I once did a 17 month trip throughout parts of Asia and the Pacific, and I then came home and went back to school to become a social worker to help others who are less fortunate than myself. I then did another 12 month backpacking trip in Latin America and learned some spanish along the way.
I am grateful for so many things in my life and I try to not forget it. I currently work in poverty reduction and volunteer a lot of my time at an organization that supports LGBTQ individuals.
I am now married to a man named Carlos. Together we are a great team and enjoy being sociable and meeting new people. Traveling together is still somewhat new, but we are excited to explore the world when time permits!
PHILOSOPHY
Don´t get stuck in the waiting place, as Dr. Seuss would say. Really, live day by day and don´t take life or your valuable things or people for granted.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've met some amazing people and friends because of Couchsurfing. I want to contribute to this community, when possible.
Interests
I love deep conversation, and I am not afraid to open up about myself and be genuine.
I love music, it inspires me. I love my friends and family. I love photography and all the perceptions to life it brings. I love meeting new and interesting people, whether it is by traveling, or by chatting it up with someone in a local cafe.
My husband and I enjoy the outdoors. Sunshine is my friend. Hiking and biking are some of our activities during summer months.
