I live in Detroit Michigan and have been working on a house for a few years which has become all consuming. I am an arborist so I get to climb trees for money. Interests include bicycles, gardening, politics, drinking, mycology, and radical ideas. I have lived in a wide array of circumstances so I'm not picky. Thanks!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Got introduced when two lovely ladies from England and an awesome girl from New Mexico saved my friend and I from sleeping under a bridge in Bilbao Spain after a punk rock show. Couchsurfing two nights in the capital of Malta. Hosted a Texan while living in Quito and surfed myself in Quito once I was no longer living there.

I like a strong drink. I love playing sports but don't care much for watching them. I enjoy good conversation, learning other languages and wish I could learn to rock climb.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my bicycle through the paramo of Purace, after 40 km of only mountain forest and gray, raining skys, we made it to Coconuco... An unforgettable sunset in the only part of the sky not covered with gray clouds, frailajones and other extraterrestrial looking plants stretched as far as the eye could see. An out of place river winding through the paramo down to the small village of Coconuco. With a backdrop of forested mountains to the left and treeless much bigger mountains to the right. I can say it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
