Hi there! My name is DeAnza (pronounced De-ON-zuh), and I am a student finishing college! I will be graduating with a degree in Theatre and business. The dream is to work as a full time actor, but for now I've been blessed to work on a variety of great projects in theatre, film, and modeling all over the US!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My sister Tiana (who is also in college) and I are traveling to Europe this summer (a dream of ours for years) and would love to make some friends! As students the budget is a bit tough- so we'd love some help! We hope to be able to meet locals, grab drinks and share life!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love coffee, nature, and people- and I will probably be photographing all of those things when I travel! My sister and I love absorbing the sights and sounds of culture! Our favorite TV shows: Gilmore Girls, Downton Abby, Sherlock, New Girl, Stranger Things, Parks and Rec, and the Office (we do like our Netflix)!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmm... that's a tough one! I've walked runways across the US, camped in the back country of Colorado and hiked its mountains, surfed (or tried to surf :)) the waters of Mexico, and navigated the coasts of California to New York!
My sister has trained Olympic horses in Ireland, obtained her motorcycle license, and is an all around BA (but a softy too :).

But my favorite thing is yet to come-- Europe Summer of 2018! I hope that you can be a part of the adventure with us! :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I make studying culture a part of my trade as an actor. I LOVE the unique accents and customs of each culture! My sister and I balance each other out: I'm a planner- spreadsheets and budgets (and Couch Surfing account making), Tiana is the free independent spirit who just goes for something! We have been on cross country trips together, and we love meeting up with friends along the way and involving new ones in our travels!
