ABOUT ME

5'7" SWM short blonde hair, athletic build....oh wait thats right they said this is not a dating website...lol
I am just your ordinary guy, well for this website anyways. Wants to travel the world and see every country on the planet. Have to be honest I am a little nervous to head out on my RTW trip. I have a couple of buddies that are looking to head out as well, for shorter times and in the long run maybe for different reasons I am thinking. I have no problem traveling alone, I did Europe alone but Europe is very modern compared to others places I intend to visit.
I love sports, I am a sports nut, I will play or watch any sport, I can not wait to watch some live Cricket and Aussie Rules Football.
I am a very laid back person, well this is how I see myself when I look in the mirror, others perceptions can be totally different but it could be because they are the uptight ones and see everything in that light :)
Always up for a party but I usually find myself to more of the person who sits back and observes the diversity of the whole group rather than jump up in the middle and entertain the masses.
I am not looking to travel the world in party mode, more so in cultural experience mode with the odd party thrown in.
I will listen to any music, some I am not to keen on but I will listen because there is meaning behind all music.
I hope to meet some very interesting people on my journey this time to travel around with.

PHILOSOPHY

This could be a very intense deep discussion here. Why do I live my life, hmmmmm. You never know which second will be your last breathe so why wait for worrying about what may or may not be. The old cliche live each day as if it is your last is true in a sense, but I like to think....Live each day as if it is the best day of your life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this website, but I am hoping that once I get back from my travels that I can participate by offering my couch to anyone that comes through my whereabouts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed on friends couches here in Canada. actually just got back from staying on a friends couch in Montreal. Montreal is a beautiful culturally rich city, probably Canada's most amazing city. I have never had a bad experience staying on a couch anywhere. There is only one thing that worries me, and maybe this is because I am new, but it is the fact of staying with someone while out on an extended trip, not knowing them and trusting that your things will be ok while you are out if you are staying with them for a few days.

I love movies, any kind really, I will watch them all, there are very few movies out there that I could not sit through and watch, do not get me wrong there are some that I can not take, and there have been some that by the end I can not believe I did not stop it or walk out.

I do not have a favourite band, more that I enjoy a lot. I know typical pattern with my answer to all of these but I try and enjoy everything. This is something beautiful about everything, but you will inevitably come across something that you do not like and can not take.

The biggest accomplishment in my life thus far is completing the
Ironman Triathlon. It was a long day but so fun and rewarding, it
was truly a sense and feeling of accomplishment.
