About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make the world my oyster
ABOUT ME
Sociable, sane, civilised and game for a laugh. A great garden and comfortable house are part of the package. Down the road are beaches and out back there's the Royal National Park. It seems mean not to share. We two are 50+ and 60+, easygoing, but also pretty house proud. We've heaps of interests, ranging from antiques to animal rescue, and are well-travelled, affable, prone to a glass of plonk-O come the cocktail hour, and blah blah blah.
PHILOSOPHY
Being pleasant isn't really that hard and can mean a lot to someone who's having a shitty day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
N.B. CITY BREAKS ONLY. There are no buses; the ferry stops at 6pm in winter. Our accommodation does not suit new arrivals wanting easy access to the city. Best for people wanting a break in nature to explore the national park.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None as a Surfer yet, but hopes are high.
Interests
Most things, but not AFL and lawnmowers.
- animals
- cocktails
- gardening
- beaches
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies, music, books? Yes to all three.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Egypt rewrote my notions of age and scale, but Milford Sound, NZ, on a misty afternoon was truly awesome.
Teach, Learn, Share
Proper English is spoken and written here. Happy to help out on that front. I'm sure we have more to offer, too.
