Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel and interact with different people all over the world. Although I have never been out of India till now, but I have a very open mind about everything and I am curious about meeting people from different cultures.

Interests

I am an ardent lover of music and movies. Call me lazy but I spend my whole evening after returning from work watching movies and chilling. Apart from that I am a doctoral student in geology and a nature lover. On weekends I occasionally go for camping trips. I have a knack for cooking and can share some secret Indian recipes with you.

I love Bollywood music. Also I am very fond of Coldplay, Pink Floyd, Aerosmith etc. I am not too choosy about my music preference.

Generally Netflix is the one stop destination for all my movies. I love sci-fi, rom-com and thriller movies. I have strong attraction for superhero movies and animated movies also.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding from 5000ft height. It was pretty scary and fascinating at the same time. I also did scuba diving and saw the most amazing marine life, generally elusive to us

Teach, Learn, Share

Photography is one of my major interest of late. I would love to learn and share some knowledge about photography with my hosts/guests.

I am also a self proclaimed foodie and a good cook. I would love to learn and share some cooking skills or take my guests out for food trip to some of the most authentic places in my city.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Local cuisine and culture, good stories to share, a tour of the city of dreams and some good memories.

I am also kind of tech crazy. I would love to have converstaion on the latest gadgets and discoveries. I also love to keep myself updated in terms of gadgets.
