About Me

I risk sounding very cliched, but well, I am definitely a wanderluster. I love getting to know other cultures, new people, new food (uf, this especially), new climates, new streets, new scents... I believe myself lucky, since I got the chance to travel quite a lot when my father was a pilot. Now I try to do it on my own. I think one of the best ways to invest your money is on trips and memories.

When I'm not travelling, I try to get together with foreigners to just listen to them and travel through their experiences.

I was born and raised in Buenos Aires, a city I love for there's always something new around the corner and the nightlife is really good. I'm sansei (third-generation Japanese), but I consider myself very Argentinean as well. There are a few Japanese customs that remain in my family, the food especially.

I enjoy travelling on my own since I need some independence and space and I find it hard to get used to other people's times. I can be a bit of a loner sometimes, yet I feel extremely close to my group of friends and my parents and brother.

I go out a lot, I love dancing, going to concerts and partying, trying different restaurants all the time, meeting with friends over a cup of coffee or ice cream. I'm a big fan of and a bit crazy and knowleadgeable about ice cream. There's probably ice cream in my veins.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a way of giving back all the hospitality I was offered in Europe and New York, I have been meeting couchsurfers in my city —touring around with them, recommending places to go out, going for a coffee, introducing them to my friends and family.

Interests

Many. I'm passionate about languages: grammar, phonology, comparative structures. I'm studying French and Japanese and also taking some subjects in Literature, my major. If you like reading, we'll probably have much to talk about.

I like acting as well. I do commercials and modeling for a living. I had a role in a famous Argentine program, which was an amazing experience. I'm planning to take up some drama classes next year.

Also, just like the majority of beings, I simply love eating and trying food from different places. Anthony Bourdain, yours is my dream job.

I have my own brand of T-shirts called "Serendipity". It's for book lovers. Check it out!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Laughing out loud at the top of Warwick Castle with a friend and nobody else around. For me, that felt amazing.

Going alone on a 35-day trip to Europe when I was 19. No definite plans, just that I wanted everything to flow. And having no fixed schedules, I ended up taking a plane on impulse to see somebody I'd met some weeks before.

TOKYO. Most amazing and bizarre city I've ever been to.
