ABOUT ME

I'm on some kind of journey. I'm a nice jewish girl from the east coast but sort of adopted california in spirit, although, I am compelled to make London - or some other place outside of America - my home. I'm kind of a hippy and I'm definitely a hippy lover. Which put me a little out of place in business school: there was no one to love. I'd rather look at cool furniture and clothes than spend hours in a museum. Am I not supposed to say that out loud? I have few vices - that I'm self-aware of.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed 14 couches in the past 9 months, including family members (do they count?). One was on a sailboat. Two were in the UK (London and Edinburgh) and one was in Paris (a few days ago). That "couch" was really a bed on a canopied wooden frame that used to belong to a Chinese emperor who would accept his people while sitting on it. Most were in the States. All were with friends. I gave up two apartments that had my name on the lease (NYC and LA). Now I don't have my own home and I've been living out of a suitcase since May. The suitcase has gotten smaller since then. There are so many stairs.
