About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Work work work, dream of where I'm going next.
ABOUT ME
Laid back, eager to travel and see new places and meet new people. Definitely a daytime person and not a party animal. I just came home from a 19 month travel adventure and now I'm opening up my little apartment to fellow travelers!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in karma, you get what you give, so I try and just live and not be a jerk. If I find money in a wallet with a name and address I do what I can to get that wallet back to its rightful owner. If someone drops their scarf in the street I point it out so they don't lose it. If I stand and enjoy a buskers music, I throw a few coins in his hat. I try not to get upset with long lines and bad service because you never really know what the person at the front of that line is going through and at the end of the day it doesn't much matter anyway. If it won't matter in ten years I try and not let it bother me today.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfed a few times across Europe, now home and happy to take in anyone passing through if I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed a few times now, all good experiences and as much as I love a good tourist attraction it's been great getting to know what locals do in a city.
Interests
Horses, hiking, photography, beginner yoga, travel of course.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Arcade Fire, U2, Paolo Nutini, Mumford & Sons, Lumineers sort of festival music. I can't deny the occasional TSwift car karaoke session.
Books: Huge Vonnegut fan and am rereading the classics I begrudgingly read in school with much more enjoyment this time around. I just finished The Hundred Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared and it should be on your must read list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Selling all my things and leaving home with an overweight backpack and no idea where I'll end up next! My top experience has to be watching sunset above the clouds and then seeing the blanket of stars come out with a few of my first hostel friends on Mauna Kea on the Big Island of Hawaii though. Second best was catching sunrise on a tall ship in Derry, NI.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you've got a spare horse I can teach you to ride, barring that I'm not sure what I could teach. I'm happy to learn just about anything and will give something a go at least once before quitting. As for sharing, I would love to share my travel stories but more than that I want to hear other peoples stories so I can plan where to go next. I'm also trying to refresh my high school French and boost what little Spanish I've learned on the road, so if you're a native speaker I can do the dishes in exchange for language lessons :D
What I Can Share with Hosts
You probably don't want to eat what I'll cook but I can chop vegetables like its my job and am a machine on cleanup duty.
