I came to solo travel in my 40s and love it. It gives me time in my own head while I explore but also pushes me to meet more people than when I travel with friends. I love to hear people's stories. I seem to fall madly for each new place I visit. At home, I'm conscious of very real ways my day to day life is influenced by the places I've visited and the lessons I've learned from strangers.
