This is Debendra Pokharel from Nepal. My birthplace is Gorkha, but I currently live in Kathmandu, Nepal. I have been working in Hospitality and Tourism field for more than 30 years.

Our organization name is Association Nepal Aki- Cocina Mitho Chha. Ours is a sustainable social project, a non-profit organization. Our organization was established on 2012. We have a BnB, restaurant and also hospitality training school.

We mostly train the youths from orphanage, remote village and youths whose financial background is not good. We train those youths, make them skilled and help them to be independent and help their family financially. We have trained more than 5000 youths till now. Most of them are working abroad, opened their own restaurant, training center and some working in our own country. We have also trained about 40 hearing impaired youths with Barista, Bakery and Housekeeping training. Most of them are working in different hospitality sectors and one is working with us in our restaurant as Assistant Chef.

We also have a small village project in Gorkha where we help the farmers there to sell their organic products to the city area so that they don't have to face the problem of a middle person selling their products. We mostly use organic products in the dishes that we make in our restaurant.

We just started coffee farming and are using our own grown organic coffee to serve guests in our restaurant.

In addition to this, we have been very active in social works. We have helped many people during the earthquake of 2015 in Gorkha, the epicenter as well as in Kathmandu. We have also provided with basic needs and food during the first outbreak of COVID and medical help during the second break of COVID. We have been doing various other activities to help youths and other people in our society.

We can arrange for the site seeing in Kathmandu Valley as we are very rich in different cultures and we have many beautiful heritage sites. We have trainees from various places so you can get to know their cultures as well.
