Contemplative. Beauty moves me. Usually I see it where many wouldn´t.
I can´t live without: Planning, reading, listening to music, travelling, studying, teaching, seeing the green grass and the blue sea, dancing like no one is watching and some other things ...

PHILOSOPHY

I tend to escape easily for the past or the future, so I´m always on a effort for "carpe diem". Hence, my mission to "expand the present"...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been hosting in Coimbra and have surfed in England, Scotland and Italy and I have had mainly great experiences! Now I plan to host in Juiz de Fora-Minas Gerais.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Movies: Everything from Almodóvar, Kubrick and Woody Allen, for instance...

Music: MPB, Jazz, Blues, Samba, Rockabilly, Indie rock, All things traditional and folk... Beautiful percussion, corky voices, happy trumpets... I just love being introduced to new stuff (specially when it´s old)... I´m not the best researcher though...

Books: Guimarães Rosa, Manoel de Barros, Leminski, Fernando Pessoa, Mia Couto, Nick Hornby, Isaac Asimov, Tolkien, Paulo Coelho, Dostoievsky, Philip Roth... Very eclectic...

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

Almost every horseback riding experience, but, specially, as a kid, riding with my father on the same horse...

Lived an year in Japan when I was 17. Just impossible to reduce it to few words...

Watched a family of gitano´s sing and dance flamenco at Granada with Garcia Lorca´s picture staring at me from the wall of the "Cueva" and tears that wouldn´t stop falling from pure emotion...

Meeting new people, getting to know other cultures and learning languages are a personal favorite _ just like for most of you_ so I can share my knowledge of Brazilian culture (introduce you to some samba music) and portuguese language and my outsider´s insights on Japanese and portuguese cultures...
I really love to share people´s general perspectives in life...
