Overview
About Me
I’m Débora, a Brazilian advertiser who turns traveling the world into a passion project of connections and learning. I’ve had the privilege of visiting over 30 amazing destinations, with favorites like Amsterdam, Barcelona, Bangkok, New York, Prague, and the Atacama Desert. I’ve also lived in the U.S. for 3 months and Canada for 1 month. Now, I’m gearing up for my next big adventure: spending 5 months exploring Eastern Europe, including Latvia, Poland, Romania, and Bulgaria.
For me, traveling is more than visiting places; it’s about building meaningful connections, gaining new perspectives, and uncovering what makes every culture unique. I’m curious, outgoing, and always eager to share enriching conversations, authentic experiences, and mutual learning with the people I meet.
Couchsurfing holds a special place in my heart. Back in 2016, I took my first trip using the platform and was lucky enough to meet incredible people who became part of my journey. It’s been a joy to be part of this vibrant network of genuine cultural exchange.
Looking forward to connecting and sharing stories with you!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading and go through 3 to 4 books a week. I’m addicted to fiction, including romance, adventure, rom-coms, horror, and serial killer stories. I also enjoy autobiographies and books on spirituality. Reading is a big part of my life, and I love immersing myself in different genres and learning from diverse perspectives.
Some of my favorite books are from the Harry Potter series, which holds a special place in my heart. When it comes to TV shows, I’m a fan of Sense 8, Bates Motel, Friends, and Suits. Each of these has captivated me with their unique storytelling and characters.
I listen to a little bit of everything when it comes to music. In Brazil, it’s common to hear funk, sertanejo, and pagode, but I also love electronic music, hip hop, and reggaeton. Music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy exploring various genres depending on my mood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It’s hard to choose just one, but among my best travel experiences are swimming with baby sharks in the Phi Phi Islands, visiting the ancient city of Machu Picchu, and exploring the breathtaking Atacama Desert by car.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of the teachings I can pass on to others is the importance of being open to continuous learning and exchanging experiences. I believe that every trip, book, and conversation has the potential to expand my worldview. I try to inspire others to be curious, connect with different cultures, and seek personal growth consistently. Additionally, I truly believe that sharing moments and stories creates lasting, meaningful connections with others.
