About Me

I am taking a career break to fulfill my life long dream of traveling around the globe. As a surfer...I am definitely a people person...outgoing, talkative, nonjudgmental, courteous, kind, and very adventurous.

As a person, I love laughter, listening to another person talk about what inspires them, sharing thoughts and dreams for the future, metaphysics and consciousness awakening, food and more food, water sports i.e. kayaking, snorkeling AND I just learned to scuba dive two years ago and I love it! But most of all I enjoy traveling and meeting people from all walks of life with all the vivid color, smells, sensations, and at times true grit that such a journey entails.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet you!

Couchsurfing is a brilliant way to meet other like minded people. It allows more of us to travel and experience different cultures through both our similarities and our differences. It is a social-human venture that is experience driven not profit driven.

Interests

I love different cultures especially, subcultures, traditions, rituals, daily routines. I enjoy art, music, dancing, the outdoors, and magnificent awe-inspiring sights and sounds that take your breath away....

Spiritual growth, meditating, learning how others experience all that is.

Sensory overload--and all that goes with complete and utter satisfaction. Dance clubs, concerts, rollercoasters, sky diving, something scrumptious to eat, sunrise and sunset... just to name a few.

I am a social scientist so I enjoy social justice issues, human condition issues, politics, and Rhetoric--my major and passion is to debate and stimulate my mind.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really need to be sitting across from you telling you face to face about the amazing thing or things I have done in order, for you to see the sparkle in my eye and to sense when my heart rate starts to race as I get more and more animated telling you my story but so as, not to be difficult here goes...

Probably learning to scuba dive at 50 but climbing the Great Wall was amazing as was bungee jumping a huge gorge, and diving with manta rays in Hawaii.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a social worker I am a natural problem solver and I can teach English. I am hoping to learn period... I am domestically handy ( cook), and I have extremely diverse life experiences with a unique perspective on what it means to accept one another and be of service.

What I Can Share with Hosts
