About Me

CURRENT MISSION

first finish visiting all 16 German federal states, then live and work for one year in Belgium, Denmark or Great Britain. ... Or first live and work in Belgium, Denmark or Great Britian and then finish visiting the federal states.

ABOUT ME

What would my friends tell… well, they say I'd do well as an event hotline for Stuttgart. My organizer looks like an event calender and is always full of events, highly advanced as well as - even more - subcultural and non-institutional. Even if my day had 48 hours I would never be able to vist them all…

Interests

At the moment - while having only few time to travel - I like to discover Stuttgart's wide spread cultural offers from museums to zoo, from concerts to theatre, from ballett to subcultural actions and interventions, from galleries and ateliers to exibitions, from historical buildings to exibitions, from film festivals to lectures and discussions...

Besides I take part in city developing processes, e.g. I am an member of an interdisciplinary working group named "art and culture as chance for city development" that tries to improve and enable public spaces in Stuttgart through creative concepts.

If there's some time left (or I need somebody to get me down and relaxed) I meet friends for sports, to go to the park or to cook and to have a nice day and relaxed evening together.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As I didn't have much holidays the last two years there are many fantastic moments I had in my home town Stuttgart. Most of them have to do with Stuttgart's special topography. I love being on top of the hills and being able to look over the city. One time, for example, I had a ride on my bike to the Grabkapelle on the top of one of those hills. There was heavy rain the whole way up. Having reached the top of the hill the sun broke through the clouds and I had a wonderful view over Stuttgart and its river Neckar. Another time I had a moonshine picknick with friends on top of one hill.
Apart from the hills I love to stroll through the big parks in the heart of Stuttgart connecting many city districts as well as cultural and historical sights.
And last weekend I discovered a new café - Zimt und Zucker - while standing under a tree to protect me from the rain.

One great moment in holidays was on Cap-aux-Os/Canada, while hiking in heavy wind, rain and fog. Was a wonderful feeling of being free.
