Overview
About Me
I'm a philosophy student, so I like to reflect about "god and the world" (as we say in German, though it's a strange thing to say for an atheist ^^).
I love reading, hiking, travelling, meeting people and learn about their customs and opinions.
I am a very empathetic person and care about nature, so I am all for protecting the climate and securing human rights.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Not only is it in my interest to get to know people from all over the world, because it's fun, but I also think that it is good for humanity in general if we build bonds between persons of different nations and different cultural background. The more we exchange ideas and get in touch, the better we understand and care for each other.
Interests
I like to read, but as I do so much of it for my studies, I prefer to spend my spare time outside in the nature or doing sports nowadays. I like to go hiking, biking and I do yoga.
Music, Movies, and Books
books to recommend:
the book thief by Markus Zusak
a thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My sister and me have done a hitchhiking trip from Berlin to Athens. We had one month and stopped at 12 different cities on the way between our home town and the destination of our journey.
I've done a bicycle tour from Budapest to Belgrade along the river Danube, that was fun. To be honest, it was not as adventurous as it sounds, it was a bit like cheating, because there was a van carrying all our baggages and there were people knowing the region and speaking a bit Hungarian and Serbian, so I didn't really have to find the way by myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
