In one word 'fearless'. in other words, I am someone who loves to travel. I almost always travel alone and that has provided the best experiences in meeting local people. Currently studying Italian, and to helping others explore and enjoy the richness of Italy through my wine tour business in Tuscany. I love to share all that I have discovered about Italy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch surfing is new to me, but I have stayed in many hostels when I traveled the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand in the late 1980's.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Two years ago climbed Mt Stromboli, saw it erupt at dusk. Amazing.

Ok one other amazing, thing. Sailed a 32 ft boat with a couple from Brazil from Tonga to New Zealand with only a sexton! No Sat Nav! Oh yeah, no saline conversion or refrigerator! But we were happy and free! Made the trip in 14 days!

Teach, Learn, Share

Studying the Italian language, and starting to share my travel experiences in Italy with others who want to see Italy like an Italian. Get off the BUS and Meet the locals!

What I Can Share with Hosts

While we can not host anyone to share my super small apartment which my husband and I live. I am available to meet you in Siena and show you around. Or answer questions you may have about the area we know so well.
