ABOUT ME

My husband and I love to venture out and explore the unknown together. We are happily married and have 5 grown children between us and 15 grands. Our family is spread out as far as Alaska, over-seas, Florida, Oklahoma, Arizona, Tennessee & Iowa. We have been on some wonderful adventures and decided our favorite destination is "wherever we are at the moment!"

PHILOSOPHY

Happiness is a choice. We love life and being around honest, fun people. Begin each day as a new adventure, take care of what you have and enjoy life.
What you see is who we are. Once a moment is gone, it's gone forever. "My personal favorite", "Life is not measured by the number if breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Intereses

We are so blessed to have the opportunity to travel and see the many beautiful countries and people. We have a wonderful church family and really try to live our life to the fullest.

Música, películas y libros

We have so many movies we enjoy, one of the latest movies we saw was, "In Pursuit of Happyness" This is an awesome movie starring, "Will Smith". We love all types of music, well, except "Rap".(sorry) We prefer clean movies (when you can find them). This includes movies, books and songs. Books, would be authors like Joyce Meyer for me, but the hubby loves Black Powder Rifle books as well as motorcycle anything.

I went "Para-sailing" last May in Mexico. I know this doesn't sound very amazing, but what was amazing is that I ended up 200 feet in the air and my eye-glasses didn't stay on. I was suppose to watch for the gentleman on the ground to wave, then pull the harness to bring me down. I couldn't see diddly squat!
I was enjoying the wonderful feeling of being up so far and then realized I was in trouble. I started telling the Lord he would have to guide me down to safety! Isn't he amazing! I started counting and when I felt the time was right, pulled the strap. I floated down to safety!

I am a Special Education Teacher. I have worked with Behavior and Learning Disabilities for a long time. The saying, "The Apple Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree" is very accurate. Children pattern what they see. I have finally realized after 19 years that I cannot "save" everyone. This is hard for me to follow at times.
