ABOUT ME

A little bit about me....
I'm 27 and currently travelling in New Zealand. I was in Australia for 6 months prior to that and I am heading to the states in April. Back home I am a PE teacher. Love to play sports and generally keep fit. I'm a bit of a foodie! Love my chuck. Eating out is one of my favourite things to do, don't mind spending a little bit more money on a good meal. Like to go out, bit of dancing and now and again I have been known to sing some tunes on the karaoke.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'm new to CS, so this is the start of the journey. I have met so many great people this year that are part of the CS community and I figured it's about time I got involved. Since travelling I can really appreciate how nice it is when someone offers a helping hand. Anything I can do to help? Just ask. Somewhere to crash, a lift somewhere or just someone to sit and have a drink with. Bring it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have recently had my first couch surfing experience in LA and I am in the middle of my second in San Francisco. My hosts have been absolutely awesome and it's been great getting to know local people and see their cities!

Interests

Love travelling. Definitely been bitten by the bug this year and fully intend to make it a hobby. Other than that I love to play sports, basketball in particular. Hanging out with friends, eating out and just having a good laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books

tough one.....
do like a movie, pretty varied taste, anything from action to comedy to chick flicks. If i had to pick one i'd say chick flicks, the classics, pretty woman, ghost, dirty dancing!
Love my music, bit of everything but if I had to name a few of my ipod favourites I'd go with KT Tunstall, Michael Buble, Ben's Brother, Nutini, Sam Cooke, Norah Jones and a bit of cheesy pop!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year has allowed me to see so many amazing things and I've done some pretty amazing things also. I'd say the Whitsunday Islands in Australia, Mount Cook National Park and Lake Tekapo in New Zealand are 2 of my favourite places I've seen. And doing a skydive over Lake Taupo, a bungee jump of 134m in New Zealand and climbing Mount Batur in Bali was some of my most memorable experiences. Plenty more to come
