Overview
About Me
I am a network scientists. I look at systems which are more than the sum of its parts: where many objects, simple in themselves, interact with each other and give rise to rich, complex and wonderful phenomena.
I believe it is more important to reach a common ground with others than to find out who is right and who is wrong.
I have faith in what humanity is capable of, without having a faith in a Supreme Being.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Ever since my first travel abroad four years ago, I never stopped getting amazed at how people from different places are
Couchsurfing for me is a way to look at people from different places as what they are, as opposed to reducing them to their nationality, race or faith.
Interests
Cooking. I believe it is magical when ingredients slice, diced, sauteed and fried becomes so much more than the sum of its parts, food is the canonical example of a complex system :)
Biking in the nature.
Taking long train trips. I hate flying.
Technology and socialism (Abolition of Work by Bob Black is one of my favourite things of all time ). I believe in a future when humanity's progress will actually make us free to pursue our dreams, rather than enriching the pockets of the rich.
Reproducible and Open science movement: research is about sharing and collectively changing the world, not padding your CV.
