ABOUT ME
Living in beautiful cottage with my husband Dylan in rural Cornwall; researching and writing. Love the outdoors, horses, hiking, the smell of farms, love music, and news, and longs chats, and poetry, and dressing up, and charity shops, and gin, and red red wine. Going out, staying in. Being loud being quiet. For everything, a season. Although I am English 'home' for us both is Fairbanks, Alaska
PHILOSOPHY
liberal, open-minded, mellow
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We have a spare room in our farm cottage for the right people at the right time! You will need a car as we are a little remote in terms of public transport, but a good location if you are exploring the area and have transport of your own. We can host 2 people depending on our schedules etc.
HOUSE RULES:
- You MUST have a CAR! We live in a remote area, and have had bad experiences with people staying with us, promising to have cars, turning up without, and needing to be driven around all week. Not fun!
- We ask guests to be out of the house when we are
- Whilst we respect the 'free spirit' approach to life, it takes a lot of time to help guests 'create' a plan for their visit. Please come with ideas of what to do, so we don't have to spend a long time organising your holidays!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Several years ago we both hosted quite a few CS'ers, and stayed with various people on our travels. After some time out due to a lot of traveling, shared houses and other constraints it has been a while- but we are open to having people over with us while we have a nice home in Cornwall.
