ABOUT ME

A spirited individual of grand appetites. I want to travel the entire world and see everything i can before i die. I love meeting new people and trying new things. There is so much to see & so much i would like to learn. I am currently working full time to save up a lot of money so I can do some more traveling. I am extremely eager to see other countries as i have never been off this continent!!

PHILOSOPHY

I think that everything happens for a reason and that you should learn something from every situation you encounter. Just go with it and it will all work out in the end! I'm finding out more about myself and what I want to do with my life every day. I just really want to travel so all my focus right now is on saving money so I can do so!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm totally up for showing people around the Albany-Saratoga NY area. I also hope to travel to Europe next summer and do some couchsurfing there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I havent had a lot of experience yet but I have met up with a few people when I first moved to LA in 2010. I had great experiences and met very nice people!

Intereses

I love to travel and observe, especially people watching. I love taking photographs. I really enjoy doing crafty things like crocheting, knitting, & scrapbooking. I run an online vintage clothing shop, so thrifting for old clothes is also something i enjoy. I'm into fashion and style too. I also write poetry sometimes.

Música, películas y libros

I really love to find beautiful poetry by obscure writers, particularly from the 70s & 80s. I also love Bukowski's work, it makes me wanna drink wine & be happy. I love classic novels, like the Great Gatsby & Gone with the Wind. Currently reading "Blue Highways" by William Least Heat-Moon.
I love all kinds of music, right now my favorites are deer tick, the felice brothers, animal collective, the XX, yael naim, local natives, and first aid kit. I really love records and of course classic rock, dylan, zeppelin, the who, the kinks... i could go on forever. Vinyl is my favorite.
I love movies. all kinds. sometimes i'm just in the mood for a silly romantic comedy like How to Lose a Guy in 10 days, or sometimes i want something heavier like True Romance. LOVE movies that you can watch over & over and never get sick of!! Top movies ever would include: Almost Famous, Blow, Empire Records, Superbad, Terminator 2, Dot the I, Run Lola Run, Requiem for a Dream

In 2010 I went on a 2 month road trip, going from NY to Florida and across Texas to LA, seeing all the sights along the way & living out of my van. It was one of the best experiences of my life! I also did the drive back from LA to NY on a more northern route.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

i'm really into photography and could definitely teach someone the basics or meet someone who could teach me more advanced techniques. I also know how to knit and crochet which is one of my favorite hobbies. Currently I do freelance graphic design, website management and social media marketing for small business so I could help with any of those fields as well.
