ABOUT ME

I love meeting new people and I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. Anyone willing to share their time and experiances with me is sooo appreciated and I will make sure to give back in return. I'm the oldest of 6 children. I have wonderful parents who have raised us all to be open-minded and considerate of others. I've traveled throughout Europe on a couple occasions-once on a pilgrimage with a church group, another time by myself, and most recently (2007) with my sister. May 2011, my sister, husband and I also traveled to Asia (South Korea). In my life, I am fortunate that I have an outgoing personality and positive interactions with others and I love meeting new people.

My newest adventure is mommyhood and I'm happy to say that I have a little one who is super easy to travel with! (No worries though, we don't tend to CS with him! 😉).

I met some awesome couchsurfers who opened their homes to me and my family during our travels and I thank each and every one of you so much! :) I hope you enjoyed your time half as much as we have!!! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to help other people and to be a positive influence on others. I love to smile and I love to see others smiling, and I will go out of my way to cheer someone up!

I want to have a better global perspective of the world and to meet new people and see how people live differently around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister and I backpacking and couch surfing our way through Germany, France, and The Netherlands.

My sister, husband and I meeting up with couchsurfers in South Korea.

Our many hosting experiences at our home in Virginia! We've had national and international guests.

We've had an excellent and unique experiance with every person we met and it will be something I will never forget.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Vatican on a pilgrimmage, saw Pope Benedict and spend and amazing 3 weeks with my friend David who is now in seminary. Traveled to Germany last year, met a total stranger and had the trip of a lifetime...backpacking with my sister for over a month and couchsurfing every single night of the trip. Meeting strangers (now friends in South Korea), going to the DMZ.

I'm currently raising a little human! That's pretty darn cool (and crazy!)
