COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just started my adventure with CS.

Centres d'intérêt

Ancient history - mainly Greek-Roman world (especially Greek dark ages, everything connected with Homer, classic V century BC, late Roman empire, ordinary life of ancient people, ancient militaristic, Mediterranean archaeology).

Literature - masterpieces: Bulhakov (absolutely perfect!), Dostojevski, Huxley and Orwell, Joseph Conrad (he was from Poland!:), Joseph Roth, Thomas Mann, fantasy: Tolkien, Ursula le Guin (great American writer), Sapkowski (best polish fantasy writer) and much, much more. Half of my life I have spent on reading :)

I'm also interested in modern history of whole world, but mostly about Middle East - this I studied the most.

As normal, particular and young person I like music very much. Mostly heavy metal (Iron Maiden, Manowar, Helloween, Metallica, Rage, Gamma Ray, Sabaton, etc) and rock'n'roll (Guns N'Roses, AC/DC, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dżem, Kult, Motorhead, etc). But that's not all, because I like also folk music (folk-rock like Żywiołak or Žalvarinis and just folk, f.e irish, arabic, slavic). From time to time I visit Krakow Philharmonic, because I adore classical music (Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Brahms) and film scores.

I'm also interested in common and simple things - I play football regularly, love to drink cold beer, feel fresh smell of forest or play in clean snow :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

As I wrote above. Here I white something about movies. I like different kinds of movies: silent films (Körkarlen, Nosferatu, The Kid), spaghetti westerns (Sergio Leone rules!), war films (We were soldiers, Talvisota). Also I like very much movies by Tony Gatlif (Vengo is amazing!), Ingmar Bergman, Fellini (La Strada!). Of course it isn't everything, it's just first few thoughts.
In fact I like movies (the same with music, books), which simply are good ;) it's the only criterion :)
