Hi! I'm a PhD student in Film History in a small city in Switzerland. I guess I'm quite sociable and love to learn new things about other cultures. I'm also increasingly "eco-conscious" (is that even a word?) and thus I try to make the most out of my (occasional) travels.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did use Couchsurfing while travelling in Germany, France and Argentina a few years ago – and met one of my best friends that way ! I see couchsurfing as an amazing opportunity to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds, which might sometimes be difficult while traveling. For this reason I would also enjoy meeting you for a drink, or a walk, if you are not able to host me :)

Interests

I'm a history lover, and I like going to the cinema. I also enjoy having a beer outside and talk about how we see the world. If I'm not working I'm probably watching a series, taking care of my growing tomatoes or planning my next walk in the Alps (or bragging a little on my couchsurfing profile).

I've been listening a lot to Cat Powers' last album lately. I like good old Hollywood movies, but also that no-budget taïwanese film that was screened once in a festival.
