ABOUT ME

I am Jessica, 34 years, married, without children. I spent a lot of time with my friends (cinema, restaurants, cocktail drinking, cooking together, having fun). People describe me as friendly, honest, open, interesting person being sometimes a little bit hysteric and crazy ;-).

I have studied business administration and educational science but at the moment I work in the field of patents. I play golf, not really good but I try my best. I love reading, cooking, board games and I collect cook books (you will see thousands of them when you are here ;-). I like travelling, I play improtheater and I love music.

I am here as I am interested in new people and cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:

I usually read a lot of non-fictional books e.g. books about history, everyday-culture, architecture, science, nature, countries, photography, psychology and cook books, biographies.

Some of my favourite novels are:
Umberto Eco - The Name of the Rose
John Irving - almost everything, especially The Hotel New Hampshire
Paulo Coelho - The Alchemist
Hermann Hesse - Short Stories
J.K. Rowling - Harry Potter Series (to be honest these books are my all-time favourites and I read them almost once a year)
Hans Fallada - Little Man, what now
J.R.R. Tolkien - Lord of the Rings

Music:

Well, my taste in music is quite weird. I love electro (especially VNV Nation and Apoptygma Berzerk), medieval music (Qntal, Helium Vola), medieval rock (In Extremo, Schandmaul), dark Wave (Deine Lakaien) and, I have to admit, Rammstein.

Sounds like I am a gothic ;-), but I am not as I enjoy also a lot of other music: punk (Die Ärzte, Green Day), pop (Erasure, Depeche Mode), melodic stuff (Enya), techno and I also just like good old rock and pop classics and main-stream. Moreover I love classical music and I am proud to have an abonnement for the chamber concerts of the Bavarian Radio Symphonic Orchestra ;-).

Movies:
I am quite often in cinema. I like a lot of films, so just some movies, which are some of my alltime favourites:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most impressive moments in my life was watching the total eclipse of the sun in 1999.
