My name is Dominique, I grew up in Toronto, Canada. I'm making my life into a constant working adventure, I'm trying to see as much of this world as possible. I'm primarily an artist, visual - musical - culinary. So, I'm constantly drawing, writing or somehow creating something either beautiful or delicious. I'm currently in LA for another month and a bit, looking to stay in different parts of this beautiful city and meet more amazing people. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to venture out to different places while meeting awesome people who can show me around their own neighbourhood a bit! Travelling as taught me so much, to be open and generous and welcoming to every person I meet and the couchsurfing community is so absolutely amazing for sustaining that sense of trusting "strangers", just out of the kindness of your heart. I put "strangers" in quotes because I've also learned while travelling that people shed the title of "strangers" soooo quickly it's magical!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left my home town and went across the country indefinitely with almost nothing but a big backpack of clothes and my best friends.

I would love to learn as many different cuisines as I possibly can, as well as teach others of what I know! Trading lil food secrets and pointers is my favourite, especially with people of all different cultures!!!! I would love to share music with anyone who will jam and of course, a lot of laughter!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring a light, fun, trustworthy ball of joy into your home! I'm respectful and try to spread as much love as possible. Travelling, I think, is the greatest way to learn about other people and yourself. Meeting like-minded people will allow me to share experiences and gain more and more knowledge about the world. I can also be sure to treat your home as though it was mine with the utmost respect and tidiness regardless of the length of my stay.
