ABOUT ME

I consider myself friendly and even though I don't usually strike up a conversation, I'm quite chatty once you know me. I love meeting new people, learn their culture, and maybe their languages. I'm pretty crazy (in a good way), I love to laugh, and I have a lot of energy. I like dancing although I'm probably not the best dancer in the world :p I love singing. Karaoke? Bring it on! :D I prefer live music though. What else? I don't smoke, I don't drink (occasionally, maybe). Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend (who ironically isn't a cs member) told me about couchsurfing and got me interested. I really like the idea of sharing your house and time with a stranger. I mean it's a really nice way of getting new friends, helping others, break down walls of prejudice and man-made boundaries. What's not to like? After all, who knows, by entertaining strangers we may be entertaining angels :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different kinds of genre. Pop, rock, RnB, dance, post rock, avant rock, soul. I think music is beautiful and I enjoy what I enjoy. I don't really care about the genre.

I like action movies the most, but also enjoy drama, witty comedy/romcom, fantasy quite as much. One of my favorite movies would be Shawshank Redemption. I watched it so many times :)

I would like to read more books, but don't really have time. I read books by Khalil Gibran, C. S. Lewis, Paulo Coelho, Khaled Hosseini, and the last book I read (still reading it) is by the late Nabeel Qureshi.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not really something I've done, more like something I experienced. I took a ferry ride from Bali to Lombok and on the way I watched a pod of dolphins. The pod was just swimming in front and next to the ferry. I saw a mother dolphin swimming next to its calf. The dolphins were literally playing in the sea. It was so magnificent, I will never forget it. Just pure beauty.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Indonesian if you'd like, share stories and listening ears, even shoulders to cry on. People interest and energize me, so I would love to meet new people.

I love learning languages, love historical sites, so if you can show me around and share some knowledge, I would be ecstatic!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share some Indonesian food or cook something with some Indonesian ready-made spices. I love spicy food, so if that's your thing, I'm your girl.
