Overview
About Me
I am an enthusiastic, creative college grad eager to fulfill my cravings of Wanderlust! I am individualistic and very easygoing. I enjoy meeting new people and indulging in foreign cultures. I have lived in Brazil (as an exchange student,) Barcelona (as an English teacher,) and want to continue my life long journey of stepping on each continent one foot print at a time. I am traveling with a GoPro throughout my travels and hope to document some very amazing footage.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing proves to be an experience within itself and I think its about time I take part in the action! When traveling I strive to live like a local by emerging myself in other cultures verse the typical travel guide-in-hand tourist.
I am approaching an extensive journey throughout Europe and Asia with a girlfriend. We purchased a one way ticket to London and have a pretty thorough itinerary planned. Hostels, hotels, trains, and airports become draining after time; having the opportunity to be welcomed with open arms into the warmth of another's home is all we could ask for.
Interests
One word- nature. I have an infatuation with the sky, especially sunsets. I am a very active female and find comfort being in the great outdoors. Throughout my travels I want to become a devoted yogi and harmonize with good ol' Mother Nature the best I can.
I love languages- I am fluent in Spanish and due to the lack of practice, these days, only hold a decent grasp on Brazilian Portuguese. I want to broaden my vocabulary and learn any other languages I can.
I love sports of all kinds---primarily soccer and surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy music of all kinds; 90's music has to be my favorite though. I am looking forward to the sounds of different cultures. I do not watch that much television or movies to be able to say what is my favorite. I enjoy comedies. The Count of the Monte Cristo will go down as my favorite book of all time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A month long trip to 16 beaches of northern Brazil with 74 exchange students. I will never forget the sights and memories I was able to create with individuals from around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a very patient person; I have previous experience teaching foreigners how to speak English and feel this has allowed me to appreciate the importance of compassion. When you break down the barriers of judgment it allows ideas to form, relationships to blossom, and memories to hold.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My good sense of humor. I love laughing and making people laugh even more.
Anyone that welcomes me into their home will gain a lifelong friend and a home away from home in the states upon my return (whenever that may be)
