Hello there! I'm Deena,, 24 years old . I lived in PA for 4 years , and now I’m back for work. Im going back to Palestine in June and coming back in September.
I grew up, went to university, and worked in Palestine but I kept visiting the states cause I got family here.

Other than that I’m really here to host strangers .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the past, I cared about seeing places/museums/famous buildings and free walking tours. But now, I care a lot more about meeting locals to understand and learn about the true culture and way of life of the people who live in the place I'm visiting, because I get a lot more out of traveling that way. I still care about free walking tours because I learn history and maybe some cultural aspects, but my traveling style has definitely shifted to a people-centric one rather than a sightseeing one. Honestly, I don't care what I do as long as I'm with people I can connect with and learn from, though the funny part is, eventually I go to all the "must-see" places regardless because locals will take me there (along with local places). It's great!
