About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out how to live...

ABOUT ME

I'm Irish, though I've spent just as long in england as Ireland - I love cities, especially cultural capitals - Dublin and London have been great places to live - but I'm essentially from the country and love open spaces.
Recently discovered snowboarding!
Just as happy in-doors with a glass of wine as on the dance floor with a bottle of beer
I'm an artist - I am interested in exploring the nature of people through art, I suppose... theatre is where my skills lie, though I'm dabbling in short film at the moment too...
(2008) I feel like I've been working hard building my career for since I was about 17 and its now time to stop for a couple of months and discover a bit more about myself, the world and other people...

PHILOSOPHY

Give me a glass of wine and I'll tell you all about it...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dived off a 35ft bridge in the River Una in North West Bosnia during three days of white water rafting at the Una Regata...
Worked with the RSC to stage all of Shakespeare's History plays over two and a half years, finally performing them all (24hrs worth) over four days at the Roundhouse in London... And we won some Oliviers (Theatre Oscars)
Michelangelo's David... really, it's jaw-dropping...
Saw all the paintings in the Louvre in one seven hour visit...
Directed King Lear in an Opera house.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a theatre director, so that whole area is something I can happily share other than that... I'm working on it... Did Feldenkrais for a few years, and can give a pretty good massage.
