About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to awaken, to live, and to love

ABOUT ME

I think my friends would say...... shoot this is a tough one. I think my closest friends would say I'm kind, silly, and perhaps even an epic freestyle rapper. But I only rap with my closest friends, it's a trust thing :)

PHILOSOPHY

"Being must be felt. It can't be thought."
-Eckhart Tolle

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am excited at the prospect learning, teaching,....I guess it all comes down to sharing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am just now loggin on to couchsurfing for the first time in a couple of years. In 2009 I couchsurfed through mexico with my brother for six weeks until i eventually ended up staying and renting a room from one of my hosts.

Interests

I like to check in with myself frequently to make sure I am balancing intention, action, non-action, gratitude, and awareness in my life. I like to play and create music, build, garden, brew honey wine, travel, and listen.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lately I've been listening to Thomas Mapfumo, Kampala Sound, Roots of Chicha, Pablo Moses, GO! Slowpoke, and Sweaty Sweaters.
I think Robert Monroe's books on his out-of-body-experiences are fascinating.
"A New Earth" by Eckart Tolle has changed my perspective on being human.
Osho's "The Book of the Secrets" is an excellent guide to living in the now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just this last weekend I visited some old friends in Bellingham, WA and we we had a driftwood bonfire on the beach and watched the orange sun set behind the silhouette (spelling?) of giant barge out in the bay. It was amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I definitely love to learn, and I enjoy teaching as well. As a matter of fact, I read once that we teach best what we need to learn most. I enjoy talking about life and existence. I enjoy meditating. I enjoy watching different people and laughing at the fact that we are indeed all one.
