-Highland Tours (there is also a free short day tour to highlands-google free highland tour - called ‘TheHairyCoo’ - but they ask for donations after the trip which you can pay according to your wish - custom is £5-20 pounds). This requires advance booking.
- Happy to drive you to highlands in exchange of fuel cost.

Let me know ur interests so that I can help you plan your trip or do bookings if necessary.

Best month to visit - August with ‘Fringe Festival’ going on here. But finding stay could be difficult due to huge rush.

Best season - Any but if you are not fan of cold weather then April to Oct. but do carry strong umbrella with you as it can can rain ☔️ anytime during July-sept.

Best way to reach city from the airport. - there are 2 options - take a tram from airport to city centre called York place (cost £6 pound one way but £8.50 open return (any date) but check timings as tram only runs from approx 6am to 10pm and it might not suit you on your return) AND other option is bus number 100 (last stop is city centre -40 mins journey - cost £4.50 one way and I think £6 return - runs 24 hours). So taking bus is best.

Local travel - everything is walkable. but if still you want to use public transport, it will cost £1.8 for one journey anywhere. Better is to take day pass for £4.50 and travel as much as you want within Edinburgh in bus or tram either doesn’t matter (both are included). Only airport journey costs extra as pointed above.

Please note Prices have increased a little bit after Brexit :(

Use BookMyFly for cheaper flight options.
