Overview
About Me
Hmmm... okay, I'm gonna try and be as detailed as I can be, even though I hate typing these segments. Alright then...
Apart from my love for travel (duh), the things that get me going the most are food, adventure (even the non-travel kind), music, bouldering, kurtas (ask me if you don't know what they are), table tennis, theatre (just an amateur), martial arts (again an amateur), hiking and even mountaineering (just a beginner), history, geopolitics (love to learn basically), salsa (a recent addition), etc, etc.
As for the kind of person I am, I think I am considered friendly by most although I don't make close friends easily. I love sharing my culture which in itself is a mix of different Indian cultures (yes, there is no 'one' Indian culture). So, you could definitely ask me about your trip to India if you are planning one or ask me to surprise you with an Indian dish (I'm just an average cook). I am a private person but I don't shy away from conversations. Also, I am always open to trying new things and that includes trying to integrate into a new culture to understand it. I can't think of anything else to add here right now. I'll probably keep expanding it as time passes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now that's a no-brainer now, isn't it? To meet new and interesting people from around the world!
I love getting to know new cultures, try new cuisines, explore new sights, etc., etc. What better way to do it than doing it with the locals. Of course, I would enjoy hosting people from different corners of the world too but unfortunately, I'm currently in the middle of moving from one place to another.
